About the Event

Come join Friends of Brooklyn Park for our 2nd Annual Halloween “Cans for Candy” social distancing event.

It is on Halloween Day, Sunday, 10/31, from 11AM - 1PM at Brooklyn Park on Milwaukie Ave.

Bring a bag or bucket of redeemable cans and bottles and get a screechy clean bag of candy (4-6 pieces). Kids can play our spooktacularly safe BOO!! bag game for a chance at an extra bag of candy.

We are raising funds for our Summer Youth Program .10¢ at a time with over $14,000 raised so far. Not only will you leave with a bag of safe candy (or two), but a blue bag that can be filled and turned into a Bottle Drop location to donate directly to Friends of Brooklyn Park.

Costumes are encouraged; masks & social distancing are required.

OR - If you have bottles to donate but would rather have them picked up at your home, we are always picking up around the neighborhood by request as well. Please email to schedule a porch pick up!

Happy Halloween!!
