2nd Annual Community Rummage Sale is Back



Our Community Rummage Sale is returning to Brooklyn Center Suites. All proceeds will go to Friends of Brooklyn Park’s Summer Youth Program. Hopefully it will not be as hot as last year's weather wise.

Place: Brooklyn Center Suites, 3717-3719 SE Milwaukie Ave

Dates & Times: Fri, June 17, Noon - 6pm

Sat, June 18, 9am - 3pm

Want to Donate Items?

Please review our list of “Wants & Nots” for items that can be donated. Have a question about an item please email, info@friendsofbrooklynpark.org or call (971) 808-2438.

Donation Drop-off: Donations can be dropped off at the Summer Youth Program “Shack” at Brooklyn City Park (SE 10th Ave & SE Haig St) from 12-8pm on June 13, June 14, & June 15.

Donation Pick-up: If you can’t drop-off your donation or items are too big for your vehicle you can arrange a pick by emailing info@friendsofbrooklynpark.org or call (971) 808-2438. Pick-ups will be scheduled the week of June 13 through June 16.

A receipt will be provided for donated items. Friends of Brooklyn Park is a 501(c)(3) community non-profit.

Wants:

Wood furniture (small tables & chairs, end tables, coffee tables, sets)

Clothing, coast, hats, gloves, etc (in good condition, no underwear/socks)

Books

Picture frames

Games/puzzles (no missing pieces)

Jewelry

Sports gear (no broken equipment)

Artwork

Rugs

Camping gear

Gardening supplies/art

Household goods; dishes, pots, mason jars, vases

Toys

Tools or Garden Tools

Bedding (Only Complete Sets)

Printer Paper (only unopened reams)

Shoes in good condition

Purses/backpack/bags/luggage

Fans/Lamps (Must be in working condition)

Nots (Do not want):

Upholstered furniture

Incomplete bedding sets

Mattresses and frames

Broken electronics (fans, kitchen gadgets, old ipads or phones)

Wood/lumber

No cassette tapes, no scratched or burned CDs

No computers or computer accessories

No broken lamps

No yard waste or any waste

No printers

No offices supplies

No electronic/computer/phone cables

No food of any kinds

No batteries

No cinder blocks or bricks

No refrigerators or large appliances
