4th Annual Community Rummage Sale - Saturday - June 22nd

Brooklyn Center Suites is hosting a Community Rummage Sale in their parking lot. All proceeds will go to Friends of Brooklyn Park’s Summer Youth Program.


Place: Brooklyn Center Suites, 3717-3719 SE Milwaukie Ave


Dates & Times: Sat, June 22, 9am - 4pm

Please review our list of “Wants & Nots” for items that can be donated. Have a question about an item please email, or call (971) 808-2438.


Donation Drop-off: Donations can be dropped off at the Summer Youth Program “Shack” at Brooklyn City Park (SE 10th Ave & SE Haig St) from 12-6pm on June 19, June 20, & June 22.


Donation Pick-up: If you can’t drop-off your donation or items are too big for your vehicle you can arrange a pick by emailing or call (971) 808-2438. Pick-ups will be scheduled the week of June 19 through June 23.


A receipt will be provided for donated items. Friends of Brooklyn Park is a 501(c)(3) community non-profit.

Volunteers: We are looking for volunteers to help set-up, assist, and breakdown the rummage sale. We have 2 shifts, come get involved in the community and help make our event a huge success. Sign-up here.



Wood furniture (small tables & chairs, end tables, coffee tables, sets)

Clothing, coats, hats, gloves, etc (in good condition, no underwear/socks)


Picture frames

Games/puzzles (no missing pieces)


Sports gear (no broken equipment)



Camping gear

Gardening supplies/art

Household goods; dishes, pots, mason jars, vases


Tools or Garden Tools

Bedding (Only Complete Sets)

Printer Paper (only unopened reams)

Shoes in good condition


Fans/Lamps (Must be in working condition)


Nots (Do not want):

Upholstered furniture

Incomplete bedding sets

Mattresses and frames

Broken electronics (fans, kitchen gadgets, old ipads or phones)


No cassette tapes, no scratched or burned CDs

No computers or computer accessories

No broken lamps

No yard waste or any waste

No printers

No offices supplies

No electronic/computer/phone cables

No food of any kinds

No batteries

No cinder blocks or bricks

No refrigerators or large appliances
